Ok so I just finished reading another shopaholic book. Man I am obsessed. But these books are so good i'm addicted. So it's only the 2nd one ive finished reading out of the 6 or 7 that she has published. But I thought it was a really good read. If I had to rate it out of 5 stars I would give it a 4. This is a great book for someone like me who has a sister so I can relate to being completely different than my sister but in some ways we are very similar. You know what they say, "a sister is both your mirror & your opposite". But anyway this book was about Becky Bloomwood of course, the shopaholic, finding out that she has a sister that she never knew about before. She is so excited to learn the news & she wants to become best friends with her long lost sister. After Becky meets her sister for the first time she changes her mind real quick. If you read the book you will find out why.. i wont give it all away. But basically this book is about sisterhood & friendship & love. It's about standing up for what you believe in & mending relationships with those you've lost contact with over time. I wasn't really expecting the book to end how it did, but that's part of what makes it such a good book! This book is different compared to other ones because Becky actually tries to make a change with herself & her spending problem. There is a bit of drama in this novel but that's what really kept it interesting & kept me turning the page! pick up a copy from the bookstore & give it a read. I'm sure you'll like it. Whether you have a sister or even a close friend who you consider your sister, you'll relate to the moments Becky & her sister have in the book.

Fangirl moment
Oh my god so today I totally had a fangirl moment on the internet. Samantha Randhal, one of the beauty bloggers from Batalash beauty actually favorited my tweet and tweeted back at me. It's pretty crazy. I've watched so many of her videos & she is just hilarious & beautiful & perfect & so good at makeup. But anyway, I had a total fangirl moment. I tweeted about how I would never get to meet her because she lives across the country & in a different country. Then she tweeted me back & she tweeted back you never know! I hope we meet one day!
& I saw the tweet & was just like... DAY = MADE.
Not only just the fact that she tweeted me back but, she has 15.5k followers. That ought to bring my follower # up. But anyway, it was an awesome moment & I hope we do get to meet one day but I doubt it, but hey you never know!! according to Samantha. hehe.
But lezbehonest, she is too gorgeous. I want to be her.
Well anyway if you've never heard of Samantha & Batalash beauty, here are some links for you to check out if you're interested:

Christmas 2014
Yay the christmas tree is looking beautiful :D
anyway christmas is just 3 days away.. i cant believe it. It came so fast & then its gonna be 2015 already! I just love all the lights outside and all of the holiday spirit people are having. It just warms my heart[:
But anyway, this christmas I'm not thinking about the gifts at all. I'm thinking about the ones I love. I know I spent buttloads of money on gifts for people, but whatever I'm over it. Because you know what? Those people are the ones I love & they deserve to be spoiled. I love seeing my family at christmas time every year & hearing about what everyone is up to lately. We all live such busy lives so it is nice to get together on Christmas eve & christmas day & just chat with eachother. I am just such a thoughtful person & I love buying gifts for other people. I love wrapping presents & I love being in the mall & finding the perfect gift for someone who I have in mind. Even if it's not exactly what they wanted, they know that I was thinking of them & I bought them something. So it's the thought that counts. Well anyway, this Christmas I hope you have a wonderful time with your family & a very Happy new year!
Cheers to great times with great friends & family :)

Review: White Girl Problems
Ok so i just got done reading another book!! haha I like to read. But I found out about this one online somewhere, I thought it would be worth reading. Another fiction novel about white girl problems! Let me tell you, so relatable. Being that i'm a white girl & I have dealt with every. single. one of these problems, no joke. Well anyway, this did turn out to be a pretty good read I think. It is probably geared more towards high-school age girls, but I'm not too much older than that & I did enjoy it. I've never heard of the author before, Tara Brown (writing as A.E. Watson??).. the only issue that I was having while reading this book is whoever did the editing.. i found a lot of typos. Anywho.... the book is about love & loss & making the best out of a bad situation. I found lots of scenes in the book very funny & thought provoking. I'm a sucker for love stories so that part made me happy. (There is a happy ending) But all in all I would recommend this book to anyone who would be interested in reading it.. & if you are a white girl you are guaranteed to laugh at the beginning of every chapter. The random white girl thoughts were the funniest.. haha the one about learning how to twerk. For real though. SO relatable. Not even if youre white just any teen girl in America. Read this book, you won't regret it. I thought it was kind of short, and the font was kind of big but that's good, then you won't feel like the book never ends. I got it for a couple bucks on Amazon. Barnes & Noble might have it. You decide.

Strange Beauty Magazine
If you haven't already, you should seriously check out a copy of Strange Beauty magazine!! It is a magazine published locally that is hitting its one year anniversary this January. Issue #6 will be published & I actually will be featured in it. You can buy any issue online. The magazine features different models and actors, designers, & many more. There are several ads & articles that are sure to be much more interesting than any old magazine you can grab at the grocery store. At least I think anyway! This magazine is seriously awesome though, consider buying a copy. If you want to learn more about the magazine & the contributors, check out their website! >>> http://strangebeautymag.tumblr.com/
Also if you are a model or photographer, consider submitting some of your work to the magazine! Who knows maybe you'll get a call for an interview & a full page in the magazine!! :D
The content in these magazines really is different than other magazines. It features punk rock/EDM type style. So if that's what you're into, go over to the website & check it out!
Each magazine copy is available in either print or digital, so you can choose between the two or you can get both! So if you're tech friendly or more traditional, there's something for everyone!
My latest obsession..
My latest obsession is the Shopaholic books! They are written by Sophie Kinsella, an author from London in the UK. I love her books because they are basically my life. If you love fashion, you would love these books. The only book I've read so far is Shopaholic takes Manhattan. It was really good & really funny. I would recommend it to other people who like to read fiction novels. It was the right length and it had its moments. I would give it a 4 out of 5. I want to read more of her books. She just recently came out with her newest shopaholic book, it's called Shopaholic to the stars. It is available on Amazon & may be available at Barnes & Noble but don't take my word for it. idk. So yeah, check her out & read her books (: I
If you want to find out more about Sophie & her books, here is a link to her website:

She is also on twitter & I found that out because she favorited one of my tweets & I had a major fangirl moment!! it was pretty awesome
Review: Where'd you go, Bernadette
Ok so I just recently finished reading the book: Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple. Apparently the book is a bestseller so I thought it would be a good read. Well I was wrong. If I had to rate this novel out of five stars, I would probably give it a 3. or a 2 1/2. I just thought that this novel was very dry. Most books I read I want to read until the end but I struggled to get through this one. From the title of the book, you can probably guess what it's going to be about. Finding Bernadette. & the plot is basically Bernadette's daughter trying to find her throughout the entire book. The ending was almost predictable and I was surprised I even read that far. I got so bored with this book about halfway in. I saw this book in a magazine or somewhere so I thought it would be worth a read. Take my word for it, and don't.. find another book. That's my review. Maybe it's just a bad first impression, but I don't think im going to be reading another book by Maria Semple anytime soon.
